Outlook
Today marks day 6 of inversion along the Wasatch Front with another 8 to go potentially. Though the inversion, temperatures have been riding above normal through the state during this period. There's passing system that could bring a little ventilation to this inversion layer Friday, but the real chance for cleaner air doesn't show up until an actual storm moves into the west around Jan 22-23. Until then we hold and wait. - Matt Johnson, KSL Weather 1.14.26
